This slow flow class is perfect for anyone who enjoys moving mindfully towards greater balance, flexibility, and strength. With regular practice, you will awaken and strengthen the intrinsic stabilizing muscles of your pelvis and deep core so as to provide crucial support for your lower back. You’ll build strength in your shoulder girdle, open up the chest, and release tension from the neck and upper back to enjoy a newfound sense of freedom, comfort, and aliveness in your body. This class incorporates modified Sun Salutations and requires some weight-bearing on the hands and knees. All levels are welcome. No previous experience with yoga is necessary. *Monday’s evening class ends with an extended Savasana and sound healing.
